PONS Lightning Create API: One-Call Token Launch on Robinhood Chain

The custodial twin of PONS Create Token: PumpDev holds a wallet for your API key, builds the launch, signs it and sends it to the sequencer, and you get the transaction hash back. No RPC, no signing, no nonce bookkeeping — one JSON POST launches a token with its dev buy.

Get a key on the setup page — the same key trades on trade-lightning. It may also be sent as an X-Api-Key header.

Commission is 1% of the dev buy, taken inside the launch transaction. A launch without a dev buy costs nothing beyond PONS's own launch fee (0.0005 ETH at the time of writing, read live).

Prerequisites

You need a PONS Lightning wallet with an API key. Create or import one on the setup page — one call or one click. Fund it with ETH on Robinhood Chain (chain id 4663) before launching: the launch fee, the dev buy and gas for ~4M units must all be covered, or the request answers 402 before anything is sent.

How It Works

You send the token details (name, symbol, image URL, optional dev buy and team list) in a single POST
The server encodes the launch, prices the dev buy from the fresh curve, estimates gas and predicts the token address
The server checks the wallet's balance, takes the next nonce, signs the transaction and sends it to the sequencer
You get back the transaction hash, the token and curve addresses, the fee and the quote — before the block lands

This is the fastest way to launch on PONS: no RPC, no signing, no nonce bookkeeping. Compare with client-side creation if you need full control over signing.

Request Parameters

The body is the create-local body without publicKey, gasLimit and nonce — the wallet comes from the key and the server manages its nonce.

hash is returned before the transaction is on the network, as on every Lightning endpoint. token and curve are predicted from the launch itself (deterministic from salt, name, symbol and wallet) so you can subscribe to the token on the PONS WebSocket before the block lands; confirm with eth_getTransactionReceipt.

Launch, then let the team buy

The snipeTaxExempt wallets pay 0% while everyone else pays 99% → 6.18% → 0.19% over the first three seconds. A bundle is therefore two steps: launch with the team listed, then have each team wallet buy through trade-lightning with maxSnipeTaxBps: 0 — their quotes read 0 bps from the launch block, so nothing is refused.
