PONS Lightning Setup

The Lightning API on Robinhood Chain works like Lightning on Solana: PumpDev holds a wallet for you, signs and sends each trade — or token launch — and you make one HTTP call. Get a wallet by creating a new one or importing a private key — either way you receive an API key that identifies the wallet on every request.

Keys are shown once

apiKey and privateKey are returned exactly once and are not recoverable. Anyone holding the API key can trade with the wallet's funds.

Step 1: Generate a Lightning Wallet & API Key​

If you would like to sign and send transactions with your own wallet instead of a Lightning wallet, use the PONS Trading API — it needs no API key at all.

Click the button below to generate a new Robinhood Chain wallet and linked API key. You will then be able to use your API key to trade with the funds in the linked wallet.

  • SECURELY SAVE YOUR PRIVATE KEY: You can withdraw funds by adding your private key to any EVM wallet software such as MetaMask or Rabby, on Robinhood Chain (chain ID 4663). Anyone with access to your private key can do the same.
  • SECURELY SAVE YOUR API KEY: Anyone with your API key can trade using the funds in your wallet.
  • Your keys will disappear upon navigating away from this page OR clicking the button again to create a new API key and wallet.
  • KEYS CANNOT BE RECOVERED IF LOST.

privateKey is 32 bytes of hex, with or without the 0x prefix. The response carries apiKey and publicKey only.

Step 2: Fund the wallet​

Send ETH on Robinhood Chain to publicKey. It pays for both the trades and the gas — there is nothing else to hold. Check the balance any time with GET /api/wallet/info.

Manage keys from your account​

Keys created here can be attached to your PumpDev account ("Lightning API keys — Robinhood Chain"), where you can also create new ones, import, unlink, or deactivate a key with one click. Deactivation stops trading immediately and cannot be undone.
